I took my e-bike in for a maintenance check-up and service, and Joe did a great job. He is very knowledgeable and explains clearly what will be done. Highly recommend the Bicycle Shop.

The staff was great, and got two different bikes ready for me to test ride. I ended up ordering a different colorway of one of the bikes and the mechanic was very quick to get it prepped and ready to ride once it arrived.

Extremely pleased with all of the work done on my Cannondale to bring her back to her glory days. I expected the cost to be almost double but it was super reasonable. I really appreciate the quick service, the amount of work done and the good price. If you like bikes, these are your people!

The guys were able to diagnose my braking issues and also were able to provide a quick solution. It’s always enjoyable to talk to the guys - Larry, Alex, Zack etc - when I come in. They care about you having a good experience with your bikes.

I booked a demo (i.e. rented) a Sirrus X 1.0 hybrid from The Bicycle Shop for a day of riding the many dedicated bike paths in and around State College. I booked it online the day before and got to the store as they were opening. The friendly staff greeted me and had the bike all ready to go. They adjusted the seat for my height and I signed the waiver and paid. I rode away in less than 10 minutes. The online booking allows you to choose from several bike options. Offers different frame sizes. And even gives pedal and helmet options. The Specialized Sirrus was in excellent condition. It’s an entry level 7-gear bike. Spin outs did occur on some of the declines, but overall it served its purpose well on the paths. I had a route already mapped out, but the shop staff would be able to suggest rides to fit your needs. Return process at the store was just as simple as pick up. I would highly recommend this place and would rent from again. If I was looking to buy, they’d be my go to shop.
